An officer saw a familiar parolee and drugie working on a car near the Starbucks at Mowry and Blacow. The parolee was carrying meth and some pipes. His lady, who had a felony warrant, was arrested with him.

Two cops recognized a parolee riding along in a vehicle. The parolee recognized them too and tossed out a stolen cell phone from the car. That didn’t help him. He went to jail for possession of stolen property and a parole violation.

Crooks forced their way through the front door of a business on Osgood Road and left with computer motherboards, memory chips and hard drives.

A 10-year-old boy walked into the bathroom Thursday to find his 81-year-old grandmother dead on the toilet. No foul play.
