0916 Hours : During a traffic stop, Officer arrested Fremont woman, 38, for 12500(a) CVC- no driver license and 529.5(c) PC, possession of a false government ID. She was booked at Fremont Jail.
1411 Hours: Officer and the shift responded to the report of a residential burglary interrupted on Joaquin Murieta with two suspects fleeing towards the Ohlone College Center. Two male juveniles were caught and arrested for 484(a) PC for the theft of a carton containing a laptop left out for a UPS pick-up. Both juveniles were subsequently issued citations and released to their parents.
0033 hours: Fremont PD requested our K-9 for a search of copper thieves near Research and Brown Rd. Officers responded. The suspect(s) were not located.
0223 hours: Officers responded to the area of 6800 Mayhews Landing Rd. for a welfare check. While there, Officer two Fremont men — one age 20, the other age 23 – They were in possession of brass knuckles and “jiggler” keys. They were arrested for 21810 PC – brass knuckles and 466 PC – burglary tools and booked into the Fremont Jail.
0310 hours: During the above call, Officer saw a vehicle weaving and following an ambulance at a very close distance. Officer located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested Fremont woman, 27, for 23152(a) VC- DUI. She was issued a citation and released.
October 10, 2012
1006 Hrs. Officers responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Moores Ave. regarding a domestic battery between husband and wife. The victim had been choked and beaten by her husband days prior. Based upon the visible injuries, and statements collected from both parties and the children, he was arrested for 273.5 PC – Domestic Violence – and served with an Emergency Protective Order and booked at Fremont PD.
1015 Hrs. Officer investigated a stolen vehicle. A white 1992 Ford Econoline van, CA license 8S49674 was stolen from the 36800 block of Sycamore St.
1544 Hrs. Officer investigated a vehicle burglary. The victim vehicle suffered a shattered window while it was parked on the 36900 block of Cherry St. The burglary occurred about 9AM and the loss was car audio speakers.
