A forum on the Affordable Care Act, health care reform legislation that became federal law in 2010, has been scheduled Monday evening at the Fremont Main Library.
Alex Briscoe, director of Alameda County Health Care Services, will deliver a presentation on how the law will affect Americans and their families. Briscoe also will provide an update on the development of school health centers throughout Alameda County.
The free forum is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the library at 2400 Stevenson Blvd. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
