Teens possessing switchblade arrested after hours Tuesday at Fremont school

From Fremont Police blotter:

#033 Possession of a Weapon (Switchblade – on school grounds)

Shortly after 7:00 p.m. Sgt. McCormick was patrolling in the area of Oliveira Elementary school when he discovered a group of three males loitering on the campus. The males were sitting at the back of the school on a bench and had open containers of alcohol. All three were arrested as minors (18 & 20 yrs old) in possession of alcohol on school property and one was also arrested for possession of a switchblade (weapon) on his person. This did not occur during school-time hours and at no time was there a threat to students or campus employees.

No injuries reported.
