The Fremont Unified School District plans to use a recent $277,000 grant to complete construction for its new professional development center.
The new center will provide technology upgrades, including a state-of-the-art television studio. It also will feature an expanded facility, where district teachers, administrators and support staff will continue to receive professional training. Project construction is expected to be completed by late January, district officials said.
