Apparently the honeymoon is over for Warren Sapp on “Dancing With the Stars.” The former Oakland Raiders hulk had been a judge’s favorite — until last night.

It’s not that the big man’s samba totally lacked pizazz. It’s that, now that Sapp has established himself as one of the favorites, he has raised expectations and he needs to bring it every night. The judges knocked the routine for its “lack of content” and punished him with a score of 22.

As Sapp was faltering, Lance Bass and — egads! — Cloris Leachman were making strides. The former posted his best score of the season (26) for an offbeat, “Gothic”-like tango set to “Disturbia.” The latter delivered an entertaining tango void of her usual goofy flourishes. Count on her to stick around.

Meanwhile, Brooke Burke continued to dominate the fiield. She and partner Derek Hough were dazzling again that pleased the crowd and the judges. It was so hot and sexy that Bruno Tonioli remarked that he needed a smoke.

So who will go home tonight? say good-bye to chef Rocco DiSpirito, who failed to cook up an appetizing samba.
