Every one in a while — let’s say twice a year — there’s an Xbox 360 Blu-ray rumor floating around the InterWebs. The latest comes from tech Web site X-Bit Labs, saying that Microsoft has an external Blu-ray drive ready. Now, all they’re waiting for is a release date.

Mind you, this is a rumor. It also sounds very similar to the HD-DVD hard drive that Microsoft was offering those many, many months ago. If you were still looking for one, I heard you could get a great deal.
