Read Dead Space writing on the wall

While your busy blowing away necromorphs in Dead Space, you may have noticed that funny writing on the wall. It’s not some strange gobbleygook. It’s most likely the necromorph’s language.
Keeping with the immersiveness of the game, the good folks over at EA Redwood Shores have written alien language all over the blood-splattered walls of the USS Ishimura. It seems as if these creatures are writing messages to each other. I’m sure they’re not saying things like: “Ugmo One (hearts) Ugmo Two” or “Undead Flesh Tentacle was here.”
There’s probably something more interesting to learn from this conlang. Now, if only you could decipher them. I’m wondering where this alien Rosetta stone would be … ah, it’s in on the screenshot above. Now, hop to it and decipher those words and please drop us a line and tell us what they’re saying.

Well, I deciphered a block… spent some time on it too. It doesn’t really help as far as clues go. It says:
“Keep us whole
unity is forever
death is only the beginning”

That’s interesting. It sounds a lot like what those cult leader say at the end of the game. Great work.

Alot of it repeats. There is actually a major spoiler in the “video” options off the main menu about the origins of the marker. Alot of the other text does repeat. “Keep us whole” and “Make us whole” appear often. As does fragments of “Humans will learn that by death of their worldly spirit they will be reboarn in wunity as a stronger community undending”. Alot of the stuff in Mercer’s Lab walls and floor repeats. One that hasn’t appeared anywhere else though is
“The Unity future of mankind is a place, a physical journey that must be taken. A pilgramage reserved for only the privildged one when the time comes.”
Also, I’ve found a message from EA with a code. Apparently there are 12 of them and it points to deadspace.ea.com/ibelieve with the message “Your light shows we have left you a gift.”

Some of the messages have hidden symbols that only appear when using a weapon’s flashlight… they appear in green over the original symbols. I guess that’s what the above quote means.

here’s the messages i’ve deciphered. like smith said, a lot of it repeats all over te place, but i might have missed a few.

like i said, a lot of them repeats all over the place while others reapeat less or can only be found in one place. and sometimes they appear together and others just loose verses.
so now u can read some of “their LIES”, enjoy.
