Here’s a collection of our recent impressions of some upcoming or released games.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Beta: The title itself is a mouthful, but we had a chance to play the game a couple of times in the past few months. The good: It’s beautiful. The acceptable: It plays like Street Fighter II. The bad: It’s a couple more months away.

Top Spin 3: We had a chance to play the tennis sim on the Xbox 360 and the Wii. PAM Development took two different approaches for each system and it shows.

GRID: Gearhead Patrick Cant drove a few laps around San Francisco and other places. He gives his detailed thoughts on what Codemasters got right with courses and cars.

Spore: I had a chance to visit Maxis over in Emeryville and check out what the folks there have been up to. I also had a chance to make a few creatures, including my impression of a mulefa. (Fans of His Dark Materials should know what this is.)
