Trade Harrington for Andre Miller, that works great for both teams, then offer josh smith a monster contract that niether philly or atlanta can match. a startin five of:

C- Andris Biedrins
PF- Josh Smith
SF- Stephen Jackson
SG- Monta Ellis
PG- Andre Miller

A team that could average just as many points as last years squad, but play some stellar D at the same time, which the Boston Celtics just proved wins the title!

#21 i dont know about the rest of your list, but JRich isn’t a FA in 2010 according to hoopshype, http://hoopshype.com/salaries/charlotte.htm he’s 2011. I’d rather have Joe Johnson (FA 2010) over JR or Redd at the 2 spot. At least he plays defense.

D’Antoni and Nelson are the same kind of coach, so Harrington for Crawford and Lee doesn’t make much sense. And though the contracts match up now, the W’s would have to spend more money in the near future to re-sign Lee.

Also, the last time I checked, the only teams to win an NBA championship either built their team through the draft, or landed an MVP player through free agency, or a combination of both:

88-89, 02-03, 04-05, 06-07 Spurs – Duncan (MVP), Ginobili, Parker (MVP)
05-06 Heat – O’Neal (FA), Wade (MVP)
99-00, 00-01, 01-02 Lakers – O’Neal (MVP), Bryant
90-91, 91-92, 92-93, 9-96, 96-97, 97-98 Bulls – Jordan (MVP), Pippen
93-94, 94-95 Rockets – Olajuwan (MVP)

The W’s need to do the following:
1. Stay the course by playing their young guys and building on their core.
2. Save their free agent money for 2010: Pierce, JRich, LeBron, Dirk, Tayshaun, Yao, Kobe, DWade, Redd, Amare, Parker, Bosh, Kirilenko, and Caron are all unrestricted free agents.
3. Find a point guard who can play Nellie ball i.e. Nash, Paul, or Harris.
4. Find a coach who can coach like Nellie i.e. D’Antoni

You just might be on to something there. It looks as though there’s alot of flexibility in that lineup up and down the roster. And with the way Nelson likes to Dick around with everything there could be a ton of mismatches or at leat the possibilities of them. However the numbers for Crawford, Lee vs Harrington do they match up?

califorange, idk about that man. i would love lee but im not a big fan of crawford, though neither of biedrins, who knows may be a good move. but man NEVER EVER EVER SAY ANDRE MILLER CAN REPLACE BOOM BOOM DIZZLE!!!
