All I will say is that I would love for Baron to return to the Warriors. But I would like him to play the helpful way, that is as a true point guard. Pass the ball, help the young players and play DEFENSE. I know he can play DEFENSE when he wants to, and he can impose his will on the rest of the team..Thats the good Baron, the bad Baron is the guy that jacks up 3's all over the court, doesn't pass the ball or play defense. So which player comes back is important, the good Baron is great for the team and the city and the league.. PS..I hope it happens, he is the missing link to the team growing for the future..Good Luck..I LOVE THE TEAM AND I HOPE IT WORKS OUT................

Nellie moves upstairs?.......what happened last time he was GM for the Golden State Warriors:

He fueded with ownership and pushed for the movements of Chris Webber and Tyrone Hill, both became All-Stars after leaving.

Point is, I think the further Nelson is from the organization, be it coaching or GM, the better.

He is not cut out to make personnel decisions.

I agree about Jackson's touches on offense hindering the offense. Because he demands the ball, he is our "go to guy." While other teams have "go to guys" like Yao Ming and Kobe Bryant, we have Stephen Jackson (lucky us, huh?) He is the guy we turn to when we need a basket,....right? This hurts our offense because he is simply too much of a part of our offense. This guy was a veteran role player in San Antonio and the 3rs scoring option in Indiana behind Jermaine O' Neal and Harrington.

Now all of a sudden he is a no. 1 option.......I mean it just don't make sense. But when Monta gets back, Jackson will definitely be a no. 2 option. He is perfect as a 3rd option, that's why it would be nice if any 2 combinations of the following players each score 20ppg: Ellis, Maggette, Azabuike or Belinelli, leaving Stephen Jackson as your 3rd option, maybe even giving him a couple games off or spot duty off the bench and start a young player.

Notanelsonfan has it right. Did you see Nelson put Wright back in the game against the T'wolves with 20 seconds remaining in the game. The whole fourth quarter and most of the third we were getting out rebounded and and how did Nellie react, he brought in CJ to replace Bellinelli. Randolph ,Kurz and Wright stayed on the bench while Nellie played small ball(loser ball) B. Diddy or not the quicker Nellie moves upstairs the better. And if anyone was watching the game last night you saw the W's play much better without S. Jackson. This is no fluke. Jackson gums up the offense with his constant bickering with the refs because he held the ball too long and got his shot blocked. This is getting old.

No defense no wins. Oh well..... You gotta love Nellie. He says "I am no longer in charge of defense, I leave that up to Keith Smart and the other assistant.

What a frickin cop out remark. He ain't got shit of a offense game plan to begin with. None, none at all!
And now wants to pass the defense schemes to the assitants? Really earnin your pay Nellie, way to go.

Gotta agree with #105.

Wow........look at all the lucky fans throughout the league enjoying the ascension of their young teams while our team can't even get out of their own way.

Here is the list of "up and coming" teams that I was hoping we would be on this year, but the way it seems is that we will never be on this list:

1. Portland - I was the first to downplay their "potential." This teams is all about Brandon Roy and LaMArcus Aldridge. Greg Oden is slow, immobile and has absolutely no post moves, he is like Erick Dampier, but the team is doing better than I predicted.

2. Orlando - Big 50 win season last year and continuing to grow with good coaching and good talent

3. Denver - After getting Billups, didn't predict the quick turn around

4. Memphis - Has won some big games this year including 2 wins against our squad, who would you rather have ................Gay, Warrick, Gasol, Mayo.........or Wright, Ellis, Biedrins and Randolph?

I thought we would have been on this list as well.

I don't want to complain and harp on negative issues, I think the talent is there and we could have success in the future, but as of yet, we have NOT found the formula for developing this young team.

Who the hell is Raymond Felton for us to give up Brandan Wright (the guy they were willing to pass on to take Richardson in 2007-2008) and Anthony Randolph?

I think Charlotte is in even more of a desperate situation than we are. They don't even know what they want.

They trade their first round pick (Brandan Wright) to Golden State in 2007-2008 for Jason Richardson.

Then turn right around and trade Richardson 1 year later after hiring the greedy, disloyal bastard Larry Brown.

Now Brown has ousted Richardson and blacklisted Felton and Sean May ( I understand he's out of shape).

But the point is, don't get involved with a deal with Charlotte. Charlotte is probably gonna fold their tents as an NBA franchise, they don't know what their doing.

A trade with Charlotte would be like the "blind leading the blind."

2 garbage, loser organizations trying to make a deal......absolutely pathetic!

Stephen Jackson needs to be carful not to alienate Magette and his team for a very slim chance of getting Baron back.

Sounds like an unnecessary distraction for two struggling teams that have enough issues to worry about.
