It’s easy to say play the youngsters at the end of a one-sided game. But that’s ‘garbage time,’ with nothing on the line and no set offenses being run. I believe the development of youngsters can suffer in those situations, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why Nellie put in his vets. Not all PT is equal in terms of developing youngsters, in other words.

When Biedrins missed a couple easy shots at the basket, the rest of the team decided going inside was not going to work and proceeded to jack up shots from the perimter.

This was where Nellie should have stepped in and told them to go inside, but he just let them run amuck.

Well they need to win games like tonight, they came out on fire, Nelson needs ot stress defense more than just sdoring fast, we have to learn how to win the one we’re suppose to win. Biedrins was horrible tonight!
