Marcus: That SL lineup would 3/5 of a decent regular season squad;. Just sub Biedrins for Davidson at 5; move AR to 4; move Jack to 3; and keep Morrow and Curry at 2 and 1.

Actually, if Curry can play the point in he NBA, I will be pleasantly surprised. It’s nice to hear Nellie compare Curry to Nash; but Curry has not yet shown that he can play the position, let alone be a star. Nash was a dominant point guard in college, as were all of the other players who became top NBA point guards in the last 10-20 years.

Even if Curry does perform well at the point in the summer league, the Warriors should still be looking for a veteran point guard to run the team for the next couple of years. To get that vet, the Warriors may have trade either Curry or Ellis. That would be an interesting decision.

It’s a shame Wright and Belinelli aren’t on the Summer League roster. Nellie seems determined to trade them. This would have been the perfect opportunity for them to get meaningful minutes. At this point, Davidson seems to be ahead of Wright on Nellie’s depth chart. Any clarification on Brandan and Marco’s absence from the roster Marcus?

Do you know if Davidson is signed for next season. The Chronicle made a comment to that affect but I have not seen anything else indicating that.
