Q: Will the new owner replace the entire Front office?
Q: If so, how much time will it take for the new management to be interviewed, hired, and start functioning?
Q: Will the new F/O be able to make an impact on the upcoming season, now that most free agents are already gone?
July 14th, 2010 at 6:03 am
Q: What will change if someone sales the Warriors?
I mean the name, stadion ecxt. I don’t hope the same thing as the Seatlle Supersonics happens.
Q: Are there coming more player to the Golden State Warriors. We need certainley a nice backup center.

What are the chances that Mullie is brought back as GM or in some other capacity?
July 14th, 2010 at 7:26 am
Doesn’t it suck we just lost Anthony Morrow to the luxury tax yesterday when the new billionare owner is about to buy the team today? Geez…
July 14th, 2010 at 7:27 am
Q: With the team sale imminent, what odds would you give to Nellie returning for next season?
Comment: Call me crazy, but I’m so sick of the lack of emphasis on practice, defense, constantly playing a 4 at the 5 position…and lastly…having 4′s out on the perimeter chucking up jumpers (and therefore, they are out of position for offensive rebounds). Okay, I feel better now.

Any legs to the nightmare rumor that Dunleavy, Sr. is being considered?
July 14th, 2010 at 9:47 am
Yeah no offense to him, but please keep Dun Sr. out of our franchise. We are finally crawling out of a 16 year dungeon- no need to shackle ourselves with his services.

Can we get the new owner to retire Chris Mullin’s jersey?
July 14th, 2010 at 10:33 am
Q: Was Riley’s Maggette & Morrow giveaway “okay’d” by the potential owners.
I would be really disappointed if I were one of them. Imagine when you are in the process of buying a house, and the current owner starts painting the house’s exterior black, and the interior neon green…

Marcus, what do you think of this potential 3-way trade?
Monta to Memphis
Biedrins, BWright, GS 2012 1st rounder to Denver
OJ Mayo, Hasheem Thabeet to Golden State
Xavier Henry to Denver
The Grizz get their hometown hero in Monta.
The Nuggets get young size up front (Biedrins/Wright), plus the #12 pick this year (Henry) and our first rounder in 2012.
The Dubs get Mayo and Carmelo along with an unproven (bigs take a while to develop) huge center with last year’s #2 overall pick in Thabeet.
Warriors starting line-up would be sick at 1-4 (Curry, Mayo, Melo, Lee). We’d have to use our $2.6 mil we got from Morrow to give Tolliver as part of a 3 year, $9 mil deal. We would then use our MLE to split between Earl Watson and Chris Hunter.
PG – Curry/Watson
SG – Mayo/Williams/Bell
SF – Melo/Wright/Radmanovic
PF – Lee/Tolliver /Udoh
C – Gadzuric/Thabeet/Hunter
That’s a #4/5 seed in the Western Conference playoffs!

Harp’s Dubs has creativity and vision. That’s what I like about that dude.
And that’s what the successful GM’s around the league do. You have to think outside the box.
July 14th, 2010 at 1:38 pm
Any chance the Warriors can pick up Derrick Character? Kid is a ballah. Too bad we didn’t keep our 2nd round pick and snag him.
July 14th, 2010 at 2:10 pm
Why was management not willing to match Morrows offer of 3years $12mill and go pay D-Wright 3years $11mill?
I really don’t see the logic when they discovered a gem in morrow and just let someone else take him away. It cant possibly be the money is it?
July 14th, 2010 at 2:11 pm
Giving away Maggette and Morrow and then trading Azbuke, Randolph and Turiaf for an overpaid David Lee who can’t play man to man defense were “genius” moves and now the Warriors will contend for a title!
Yeah….riiiiiiight and then pigs will fly!
LOL! The Looooouuuusssy Warriors!
Just sell baby!

LARRY LARRY LARRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE KEEP TEAM IN OAKLAND!
July 14th, 2010 at 2:22 pm
Thanks Armchair GM. If Ellison or Lakob want me, I’m theirs for only $250K/year. They gotta like that saving, right?

Harp’s Dubs, I like your enthusiasm and creativity, but what are the chances Denver gives up Melo for Xavier, a pick, Biedrins and the waste that is B Wright? You could argue they might lose him anyways and get value instead, but they don’t really want a center with no offense and a useless 4, also they don’t get cap flexibility.
I would love to see the Warriors go after Melo though. However, Mayo thinks he plays the point and as the summer league has proved thus far that just doesn’t work. Thabeet would be wasted money and why would anyone sign Tolliver for 3 yrs $9 mil?
What makes anyone think Ellison will do a good job? Just because he is absurdly rich doesn’t mean much. He has attended one game in the last 8 years and that was to take his nephew to see Benedict James.
Also, it is spelled Lacob…
July 14th, 2010 at 2:55 pm
harp, i think you should probably stick to nba 2k10
July 14th, 2010 at 2:57 pm
i mean really, melo for a couple of nobodies and a mid lottery? perhaps you could out smart Riley with that one, tho, too bad he works for us.
July 14th, 2010 at 3:45 pm
Didn’t Wright rehab that shoulder right? Shouldn’t be ‘tender’ if he did the strengthing exercises that he needed to do. Lot’s of talent potential but fragile. What do you think?
