[...] Stephen Curry went to Nike headquarters on Thursday to find a shoe to best support his oft-injured right ankle. “I dropped an anonymous letter at Nike saying if they do make new Steph Curry shoes, I’m sure they’d be a big hit,” Curry said. Curry, who previously wore the Nike Hyperdunks, settled on the Nike Zoom Brave V. Curry said they are lower and wider than what he’s been wearing. “They’re still analyzing all the data that we collected, and I changed to a different style of Nikes for (Saturday),” Curry said. “Hopefully, that will help and I think we’ve found a fit to avoid those injuries.” Via ContraCostaTimes.com [...]

Now, I love Steph, but seeing Westbrook and Durant go at it again the other night certainly makes me want to consider a Curry/Westbrook straight-up trade. We would get the dynamic, uber-athletic PG who is a tenacious defender that Coach Jackson would love. Granted, we'd have to move Monta at that point for a high character, doesn't need to dominate the ball to be effective, team-oriented veteran who is athletic, a defensive presence and who can score, rebound and pass. But where could we find all that? Oh yeah, tonight's opponent: Andre Iguodala!
Can you imagine a backcourt of Westbrook and Iguodala? Best in the NBA, by a fair amount.
Would OKC do it? Sure, they would. They've had problems with the California native wanting to play in a bigger market and wanting to be the top dog since they got him out my alma mater several years ago. As long as Durant is in OKC, Westbrook will never get top billing. Steph would be a great complement to Durant, Ibaka, Perkins and would be so sweet alongside Sefolosha/Harden in the backcourt. Heck, he could slide to the 2 when Maynor's at the 1.

While we're trading, send Lee to the Hawks for Josh Smith to really make us defensive-minded and crazy-athletic. Smith could either play the 4 with Wright at the 3 or Smith could play the 3 with Udoh at the 4.
