I”m from milwaukee and i honestly think we got the better part of the trade also….. I always thought since the bucks ever drafted bogut he was going to end up getting hurt all the time and i really don’t think he ever AMAZED me. Bucks squad now is jennings, monta, gooden, udoh, and kwame when he’s back, besides that i honestly don’t like anyone else on the team they need to get better bench players, but we might have a chance to get in the playoffs this year were 8th seed right now

The claim that the Warriors never won with Monta, is a false claim, he was the last real player left from the blown up play off squad.

Andrew Bogus has never made his team better, they suck worse than the Warriors, the guy has obviously never been a difference maker.

As for that malcontent/loser Jackson, he was run out of GS, Charlotte and Milwaukee, two sorry teams had no use for that bozo, yet we take him back as a condition for giving up our best guy for a broken center.

We even gave them an up and coming big and quality defender, plus a 7 million dollar expiring contract, which now means no playing in next years free agent market. Damn, how stupid can the management team be. They are in completely over their heads.

Fire Riley or Lacob sell the team. What a dysfunctional group of pansies. The team now has no speed or ability to penetrate. No shot blocker on inside presense for the rest of the season. No consistent scorer and team moral is tanked as the players see the writing on the wall. 3 games out of the playoffs and you blow-up the team to save a draft pick.

Lots of class and balls as well. Letting the guys find out he was traded via television after 7 yrs of devoted service (in Monta’s case). The least the scrubs could have done was call the guys in, informed them they’d been traded and thanked them for their services. I do that with my own employees as I believe everyone deserves respect no matter the situation.

The only guy in this deal I’m sad about is Udoh, who I like. This deal has some risk because of Bogut’s health, but it’s not a big risk because he’s only signed four two more seasons and all we gave up really was a guy who’s been standing in the way of progress for years.

The best part of this move is that the Warriors management finally saw through the “Monta Ellis is a star” crap and started thinking about the future instead of tonight’s gate.

Great job Warriors. Maybe there’s hope.

Bogut is plagued with injuries for the 7 years he’s been in the league so we get nothing for a player who has been leading the Ws for several years. I think we had the pieces and needed to add to it but we went the opposite direction. Dont know that Bogut is the answer. Stephen will be traded possibly to Orlando.

The key here is if Bogut can stay healthy.

Oh and one more thing!! Monte in particular and the other guys also deserved much better than to find out by television. That was real classy Warrior Management!! That really makes you want to play and/or root for them.

I agree with “niners in 2012″. Monta could have opted out of his contract at the end of the year. I loved Udoh, but he is too small to play a center all year. Loved Monta and all he brought to the team, but seriously guys, even if we went 10-0 and made the playoffs, were we going to battle with a center like Andris? Charles Jenkins might be a legit point guard, maybe we could move Steph to the #2. Or Steph stays where he is at, and maybe Klay can be a big shooting guard. Either way, Klay can now be a starter and shine like his dad did. And now we have 2 big men that our guards can pick and roll with. Bye bye Andris.
