Like many of you, I'm a huge Pistons, Nets and Raptors fan right now as they continue to get closer to us in the standings, giving us a better chance to keep that top-seven protected pick.

Am I hoping we use that pick for a small forward? No!

Trade the pick, Steph Curry and Andris Biedrins for Rajon Rondo.

Why would the Celts do it? No guarantee of either KG or Ray Allen re-signing, while Pierce is aging. Do they want this team to eventually be Rondo's? I'm not sure they do. In making this trade, they get a young, though oft-injured, PG in Curry and a top 7 pick. They, of course, would be saddled with Andris Biedrins, but only for one more year, unless he exercises his last year option (which he'd be a fool not to).

We'd need to re-sign McGuire and Rush and not worry about Robinson and hope Jenkins continues to develop into a solid back-up PG.
The draft pick we have from San Antonio should be a guy like West Virginia's Kevin Jones, who led the Big East in scoring and rebounding, but is projected low because of his" lack of athleticism". Or, take a flyer on Syracuse's Fab Melo, a legit 7 footer. If we go the Melo route, our second round pick from New Jersey should be local kid who flourished in New Mexico after a failed stint in Westwood, Drew Gordon.

Our starting five next year would be:
PG - Rondo
SG - Thompson
SF - Jefferson
PF - Lee
C - Bogut
That's a very good starting five in the league.
Our bench would be Jenkins, Rush, Wright, McGuire, Tyler, Kevin Jones, which is a good mix of defense, energy and scoring. Put the starters and bench together and you have a play-off team capable of landing a four or five seed.

If we need an SF next year, we still need Dorrell Wright for his defensive skills he gained from his experience. Despite his woes from his treys, he is still capable of limiting the likes of Lebron James and Kevin Durant (Notice i said "limiting," not stopping).

On the other hand, i really don't care if we lose Dorrell Wright in the process because we Brandon Rush is an excellent player - Sixth Man.

Dorrell Wright is a good distributor and moves well away from the ball. It is too soon to give up on this guy and that will be a bad Management decision. Let's work on his game first. On the other hand, Biedrins is due for a trade or even a pre-mature retirement.

I think we should make adjustments for Wright to give his game more freedom and creativity. We give him up now, he will surely do well with the next team.

People often forget how good a player he was last year.

I think Warriors need to bring back Robinson, Rush, and McQuire next season, if possible. Robinson is a game changer coming off the bench, he makes steals, can drive to the hoop, and he can get hot from the outside. I'm impressed with his ability to knock down treys. Rush has played great all year, I'm sure Warriors will bring him back, same with McGuire, but I wonder about Robinson. He had cloud over head coming to Warriors, but I think he's proved - conclusively he's an NBAS player that can be a game changer.
