The Return of Mikki Moore

The Warriors just announced the signing of free agent center Mikki Moore. He was averaging 11 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Idaho Stampede in the D-League.
You may remember the 7-footer from the 2009-10 season when he played with the Warriors. He started 20 of his 23 games, averaging 5.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 17.7 minutes. He was pretty good for the Warriors, too, before surgery to remove bone spurs in his right heel shut him down for the season.
Moore will wear No. 31 and be in uniform for the team’s home game tonight against the San Antonio Spurs.

I was watching a player I always liked..Ronny Turiaf play for the Heat. And why did we trade him?..another Riley and Nelson gift to the NBA.

He was averaging 11-7 in the Dleague? why didn’t we sign this dynamo sooner? Guess it’s official that Gladness has no shot at next years roster, not that Moore will or anyone cares either way…He definitely outplayed Antoine Walker down there in the Dleague though in the couple games i saw, that is quite an accomplishment…

total tank move… and I love it! With Mikki Moore we’re sure to lose the rest of our games!

Call it M1A1 Abrams, T-90, Merkava, Leopard, Centurion, etc.
They’re all the same to me.

It’s too bad that we don’t need a guard because we are working diligently to develop Jenkins and Thompson as we tank…I would love to see Iverson right now…It would give me a reason to go to the game. I’m going anyways but a sideshow would be nice right now…

Question: What’s glaringly common between the U.S. Army and the Golden State Warriors right now?
Answer: Tanks (LOL!)

I believe this team has it in them to lose all remaining games. Signing Mikki makes me worry though, since he’s actually played in the NBA and might think this is an opportunity to get a job next year. They should have just played shorthanded.
