@#8 – Then why couldn’t they put the new stadium in Oakland, where fan attendance has never been an issue? They could have helped Oakland by putting the new stadium in there.

Instead, they completely diss the fans of the East Bay and look forward to sucking up to the rich, soft fans of San Francisco.

You cannot get any more hardcore than paying money to watch a team UTTERLY SUCK for three decades.

Lacob and Goober should have waited it out and see if Coliseum City could have been accomplished.

the traditional fan base for the warriors has been south bay And east bay and you will not enjoy the same kind of passionate enthusiasm and loyalty when you expect local SF and Marin “fans” to fill your seats…I for one will invest in a better cable t.v. plan and watch from home and not bother to cross an additional bridge to attend a game for a team run by pocket-lining morons like Lacob who now wires his son (can anybody scream nepotism?) to assist ex-agent Meyer after they hung on to idiot Riley….this team has my heart and devotion but they’re never going to be any good, they’re the Cubs of basketball, so get used to it, people, and try driving into the City up 101 at game time hours, loads of fun there…..congratulations Lacob, you get a not-by-you-financed stadium, you dump on Oracle and Ellison, and you only get the one chance to hear what people really think about you, and that was the incessant booing when you grabbed the spotlight on Mullin’s jersey retirement night…you’re just a rich spoiled little schnook
