I'd take either one of the Joneses or take a good look at Moe Harkless.

Terrence Jones might be the size of a PF, but he has the skills (former PG) to man SF as well. His versatility will allow for greater flexibility during games. Could turn himself into a tough, starting SF or Lee's primary backup, adding more rebounding, shot-blocking, and girth at the 4.

Perry Jones has more upside and from the looks of it, would probably have an easier time transitioning to SF. He's a freak athlete and skies the limit for him. With good coaching and more experience he could be a steal.

I also like Moe Harkless because he's proven in college that he can excel in two areas I think the Warriors are looking for in their SF: rebounding and defense. Harkless has ideal SF size and plenty of upside. He could be a safer pick than the Joneses, with less reward. #7 would be a reach, but if the Warriors think he's a guy worth developing, screw what the mocks say.

Speaking of mocks, here's my first attempt:

If you're playing with house money as the Warriors are by keeping the 7th pick, and you don't expect to be picking that high again for a while, you damn sure better use it on a potential all-star big man! The idea that they desperately need a small forward is ridiculous. Drummond, Leonard, or possibally Sullinger should be the pick.

Those team sources know what they are talking about when they say Perry Jones is very much in the race for the #7 pick!

Perry Jones has the upside, athleticism and skillset this team needs to compliment everyone else on that squad. Just need to be patient.

Socalwarfan1 Says:

By the time the draft rolls around, Tyler Zeller will probable go in the 8 – 10 spots. If the Warriors really want him they will be forced to use the 7th pick.
With Bogut being an unknown as far as his health is concerned, Zeller is not a bad pick.
The Warriors need a good backup Center and a good backup Point Guard more than they need a 3/Small Forward. Too bad they can’t pull off obtaining Damian Lillard or Kendall Marshal and either Tyler Zeller or Meyers Leonard.
Warrior fans have waited so long, I would rather slowly build a contender than trade all the marbles for a veteran that may only be at the top of his game for 2 or 3 years.

^^^^^^^^^
Perry Jones should be the pick at 7! Hands down! If the W's don't pick him, he will make the W's look stupid again and he will excel with which ever team does picks him.

Perry Jones is NOT Randolph, he has the potential to be more like Durant than anything.

Zeller, Sullinger and Drummond would be absolute TERRIBLE picks by the W's at 7! Waste picks!

Jones 3 or Barnes should be the pick at 7....no to Terrance Jones, who is more of a tweener.

Perry Jones can develop into an outstanding 3 within 2 years me thinks.

Tyler Zeller has alligator arms, his wingspan is shorter than his height! And his standing reach is lower than some wing players(like MKG). That's not good. His rebounding won't translate, he will get overwhelmed by taller, longer athletes at the next level.
