So…let me get this straight: you don’t think Harrison Barnes is going to pan out because of…a two year collegiate career, but you believe that Jamal Crawfor* is a must have based on 9 years of… I know and understand that he is a nice guy, however you have to take into account the fact that he is streaky and plays absolutely no defense…no it is worse because he gives the appearance that his trying so that by the time his guy gets around him someone has to rotate and (as we all saw on a multitude of occasions) leave their guy open for an easy bucket.

*the man plays no d, so I have removed the unmerited letter from his last name.

MT what are you talking about!? Crawford is horrible, a volume scorer who doesn’t do anything else of value on the court – particularly not defense. Why do you think no team wants him to stick with them?

His teams never seem to be made better because of his presence. There’s always a spectacular scoring binge or two to win a game, but the end result of having him on your team is … meh …

I was impressed with what a good guy he was when he was with the W’s, but the end result was not a better W’s team, IMO.

jamal is a fine playa– on 1 side of the ball

coming off the bench 2 light it up w/ outside shooting he his in his niche

but lets get real amigos

he is 1 of the worse defenders in the NBA– possibly the worse 2 ever wear a GSW uni & that’s saying something

Hmmmm, I wonder which sub-500 team will sign a player that struggles to shoot over 41% (38% last year), is on the wrong side of 30, and doesn’ rebound that well for his 6’6″ size?

“Not being afraid to take big shots” or being a “good locker room guy” isn’t going to win many games, when you consider his actual stats…
