Oh yeah sheep; Ellis plays EVERY night, huge minutes and plays through injuries. Bogus sits and rarely plays. At this point Biedrens has more value than Bogus. The guy has given the tean ZERO since was traded and how long he can hold up is SUPER questionable. The same applies to Curry and his suspect durability. Champions are built around broken down lames with potential.

Winners; Kobe,Lebron, Durant, Dirk ect play nightly !

Bogus has average 35 games a yr for his entirer career. He was once a THIRD team all NBA player.

He’s dealt with debilitating back pain, a bone bruise in his knee, an assortment of strains and sprains and a broken wrist. Oh yeah I forgot to mention migraines come, the agony is unbearable.

The dude is 7 feet tall and can hide behind his medical file. He’s been through more rehab than Dr. Phil, has had more X-rays than your average NFL team’s 53-man roster, has seen more hospital rooms than Gregory House. He’s also getting older and more brittle, much slower to recover.

Derek, Andrew Bogut was selected with the first overall pick. He’s averaged one rebound per 2-3 minutes per each GP and His biggest asset isn’t a statistic. He’s a TEAM player. Monta? Yeah, not so much. Fact is that the W’s have the pieces if they can focus on being a TEAM. They have the “star” power to make things work in Curry, Lee, Bogut and hopefully Barnes or Green. If Klay Thompson can step up his game, this conversation would prove meaningless come May of 2013.

I remember when Chris Webber got drafted by the team, i was so ecstatic because his presence combined with Tim Hardaway would be an awesome duo. It never materialized….

With Bogut still a big question mark, and Stephen Curry still tweaking his ankle, I have to wonder, Is History repeating again? Or is this the Warriors just being the Warriors?

Derek, how do you define “star”? Monta has never even been considered for all-NBA anything honors, except 6th man and comeback player. Bogut has been 2nd team all-defense and all-NBA 3rd team. Monta? Nothing remotely close. Which experts didn’t rank him in the top 10? Whatever it is you’re smoking, pass it my way, homey. Reagardless, his injuries do make me nervous, but I’m glad I don’t have to deal with Monta as the face our franchise.

Monta is/was a star especially compared to Bogus. When and what has Bogus ever won. The guy averages 35 games a year for his entire career. He wasn’t even rated a top 10 center by the experts. Monta was basically traded for nothing. Very few if any GM in the league would have acquired so little for Monta Ellis. Bogus is a broken down stiff being sold as a franchise player when in FACT he never made Milwaukee anything but sorry.

I think the W’s are handling this situation just right. Ezeli is ready for the next challenge: regular-season NBA action. Both Lee and Biedrins have played a lot of NBA center minutes, so are serviceable. Landry may be limited, but he can score inside and is a fairly savvy veteran. And a few minutes up front for Tyler and even Draymond Green would provide them experience and provide a clearer idea about what more they may have to offer in the future.

The best possible scenario could be for the W’s to get off to a solid start with Bogut in street clothes, then let him show up, healthy, and kick things up a notch.
