Love the gold color and design, do not like the not matching shorts, colors don’t match the top..also i know its suppose to be a shirt but they could have put blue outlining to have a jersey with an under shirt look.

@Morgan Ross – Ok Ok Ok, jokes aside, I’m not a fan of the uniforms. Seriously, part of my litmus test is envisioning somebody wearing one in a pickup game and I just don’t see that happening any time soon. Can you see somebody wearing one of these at the Rucker?

Of course, I dont have the benefit of a paid marketing staff to tell me that jerseys concepts like this will work. Nor do I play at the Rucker. What do I know? I will, however, refrain from making further comments on this topic.

the style and thread i guess i could get used too. guess it will be a must for warrior players to be athletic, those jerseys will not look good on a (oliver miller type player ) .wish it was fashioned more like our home white jersey style though ..

@John Starks – I am from the east as well, and don’t have a problem with it. Also, try an image search on Google. Most 1920 men’s bathing suits were vests like traditional Basketball uniforms.

MT, I have not commented much on your column since the “We’re taking our talents to the Waterfront” press conference hosted by Lacob and crew, but this one merrits some comments.

Hmmmm, it needs something. Make the players grow handlebar moustaches so when the teams brings back the nut-hugger shorts too, this uniform will be complete. It looks like a 1920s men’s bathing suit.

Like one of the other commenters said, I applaud the courage to try something new. But like another commenter said, this jersey will look better in SF. Please take my Eastern Span off this travesty. You SF folks can have this jersey. Put the GGB on it and bounce.
