Marcus it looks like it was true when you've said the Warriors read your blog. In your rant about Curry is being overused off the ball & needs to be the primary guy with the ball.

Fast forward to Jacksons presser last night that he needed to "...put the ball in Currys hands..." & his comments seemed directly related to your post!

Assist to you...nicely ranted!

I love all this analysis paralysis by MThompson and others. Before the season even began anyone who semi-seriously perused the Warriors schedule would have come to the same conclusion; the Warriors toughest part of the season and the most likely time they'd struggle to get wins would be the stretch that started in mid-January and ended in the first week of March, a period when GSW would play 17 of 25 on the road.

The two weeks leading to the AS break had the Warriors playing 8 games in 10 days, and all on the road. And beginning Sunday they play 5 more road games, this time in 7 days, mostly all back east.

How tough is the road in the NBA? Only 7 of the 30 teams in the league have winning road records, and the Warriors, one of the youngest teams in the NBA, is hardly the type (experienced) of team that would figure to best withstand a long stretch of games away from home.

The Warriors weren't as good as their 30-17 record seemed to indicate but they also aren't as bad as their current 6 game losing streak is being portrayed by many.

The Warriors are 16-7 at home and 14-16 on the road, so guess what happens when this very same group plays 16 of their final 22 games at home? What happens is their record will turn back to the upside.

This isn't about offensive or defensive schemes or individual matchups as much as it's about traversing what's left of this more-than-tough stretch of road vs home games for the Dubs.

The Warriors are building towards bigger and better things in the future. They WILL make the playoffs this season, which is a big first step for the franchise and this rebuilding group. But all this "fire the coach" and overall analysis paralysis of the past 6 games is really pretty silly and ill-conceived.

You can't trade Barnes, that will be worse than Kings dumping Thomas Robinson.

However, I would trade Klay for a more proven scorer like EGordon. We'd have to throw in RJeff or Biedrins to make the trade work which is fine cus that would cancel out the big contract EGordon has.

I think the problem of the team is youth. They're too raw mentally.. including Curry! and we don't have leaders that the team can emulate on with respect, like Baron Davis.

They will have to meet the bull by its horns.. but they have trust each other more.. at a certain point, Curry needs to realize, he will have to be (for the lack of a better word to describe it), selfish with the ball so his teammates can establish a sense of "anchor."

I have a wild idea! How about Hiring Latrell Sprewell as a personal consultant and trainer for Klay Thompson? Because the two are very similar in skills, actually, Klay has more game, but they differ in demeanor.. Klay has to learn Sprewell's penetration drive in order for him to make an impact, in order for him to see his potential.

Bogut? He should focus more on blending.. by rebounding, defending, and passing.. He should not expect any isolation plays for him at present because it takes away the team's rhythm.. it takes a long time for him to create a conversion oftenly disrupts the motion.. So he should focus on the little things first other than scoring..

We can still turn this around.. It's just a team approach, not an individual one.
