The Warriors led by as much as 22 points – thanks to a 22-0 run – in their quest to go to 23-0 on the season. Much of it was owed to an amazing first half outburst by Klay Thompson. (29 points on eight 3-pointers.)
The host Indiana Pacers cut things back before halftime Tuesday in Indianapolis, but not by much: The Warriors led 79-60 at half.
It was the Warriors’ highest-scoring half this season. A 44-point first quarter tied their season high for one period.
The Pacers were stride for stride with the defensing champs before Andrew Iguodala entered the game.
