ESPN analyst Jalen Rose, the former NBA guard, is supportive of Klay Thompson choosing himself as the best shooting guard in the league.

“Yes, James Harden is the best shooting guard in the league, but Klay Thompson is the best two-way guard in the league,” Rose said.

Earlier in the week, Rose also spoke highly of Thompson on the Jalen & Jacoby podcast.

“He’s in the conversation, so it’s OK for him to say it,” Rose said of Thompson. “James Harden is the best shooting guard in the league, but what Klay Thompson along with Jimmy Butler have become are the top two-way players in the game. As a performer, he didn’t want to quantify it by saying “two-way.”

“People forget about Klay, and it’s OK for him to speak up for himself. Earlier in the year, he was fighting through a lot of injuries. Now he’s back healthy. He’s a lights-out shooter. He deserves to own that comment.”
