Hall of Famer Bill Walton believes his son, Luke Walton, should remain with the Warriors even as their top assistant coach is sure to draw interest from teams this offseason regarding head coaching jobs.

“I want what’s best for Luke Walton,” Bill Walton told ESPN’s First Take on Wednesday. “I’m a Warrior of the Golden State. It doesn’t get any better than what he’s got right now ever in life, and money will not make that happen again. It’s there now. Head coaching jobs, they’re open for a reason, and what he’s got, just stay there.”

Luke Walton is in line to land a more lucrative position after having served as the Warriors’ interim head coach while the team began the season with a 39-4 record, including an NBA-record 24 wins before its first loss.

Steve Kerr received credit from the league for those games and has since returned from his leave of absence that was caused by complications from an offseason back surgery.

The Warriors were 64-6 at the time of Bill Walton’s comments about his 35-year-old son.

“It doesn’t ever get any better than what he’s doing right now,” Walton said. “When you’re 63 (years old), you know that. When you’re 35, 36, you’re saying, ‘Oh, this is just going to last forever.’ But then that inevitable crash, that inevitable fall. And then what Steph Curry is doing right now, money cannot buy that.

“I was on the Blazers. I made a huge mistake when I walked away there. I was on the Celtics. I could not sustain there. It was so fantastic at both those places.”

When I looked at the draft of 6455 dollars, I have faith that brother of my friend was like really generating cash in his free time with his PC..fk His aunt’s neighbor has done this for only 11 months and by now repaid the loan on their home and bought a new Car.
