Richmond: Scary times on Bristlecone Drive

A home-invasion robbery shook things up Sunday morning on Bristlecone Drive, a Richmond street about as far removed from the city grid as you can get.
That’s way up off San Pablo Dam Road, south of May Valley, in a neighborhood backing up on Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. Police typically don’t field many calls up there and, new Lt. Bisa French (congrats!) tells me, the department had no similar reports in the area of late.
A couple men in ski masks forced there way into the home a little before 7 a.m. They woke up the resident and clonked him on the head.
After ransacking the place, they left in the resident’s green 1995 Chevrolet Silverado, which remained on the hot sheet as of this morning.
No leads to report so far in the case. The department asks folks to keep an eye out for the Silverado.
