We noted the somewhat sudden closure in early March of the Round Table Pizza outlet in Albany, so we feel obliged to note its reopening.
The closure was announced by the financially troubled chain in an e-mail sent with the subject line “Your Local Round Table Thanks You.”
We have as-yet seen no similar electronic announcement from Round Table about the reopening, but it did notify pizza-hungry customers via a more traditional direct marketing method: Advertising mail.
A flier in the monthly coupon envelope targeting homes in the franchise location’s customer area notes that the pizza parlor at 962 San Pablo Ave. in Albany is open again and “Under New Ownership.”
