Middle College High School to hold fundraising talent show

Schools everywhere are feeling the pain from state budget cuts. Students at Middle College High School in San Pablo are trying to cushion the blow and raise money for their campus this weekend.

They’ve planned a talent show fundraiser on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. at the Contra Costa College gymnasium. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children or students with valid ID.

The afternoon will include a talent showcase, silent auction, food and drinks. The school will also accept donations at the event.

If you can’t make it in person and still want to help, make out a check payable to Middle College High School and mail it to Middle College High School, 2600 Mission Bell Dr., San Pablo, CA 94806.
