Work will close Richmond Plunge for nine days

The Richmond Plunge will be unavailable to swimmers for more than a week starting Monday, the city has announced.

The historic indoor swimming facility in Point Richmond is scheduled to be closed Aug. 29 to Sept. 9 for installation of new equipment.

The Richmond Swim Center at South 45th Street remains open.
