What was the lumber yard next to St. john's, now Bank of the West plaza, that went up in flames one night? Maybe one of the Dolan yards. A huge fire.

Nice photo of that Santa Fe train, a classic. I have a print and see many long gone EC businesses displaced by Del Norte apartments. Like the beat up Bay Bridge motel, Silver Dollar building and the recently demolished Apex building at Knott. The eastbound passenger train is The Scout I believe. Golden Gate streamliners and the San Francisco Chief ran there as well.
